Production Supervisor Northern Illinois

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily production operations while ensuring safety, GMP compliance, and product quality standards are met
- Oversee changeovers, line performance, and smooth transitions between shifts
- Drive OEE, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility
- Coach, develop, and support production employees in a hands-on environment
- Partner with Quality, Maintenance, and Safety teams to optimize plant performance
- Serve in a relief leadership capacity, making an impact across multiple shifts and departments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or managerial field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a related industry
- Strong understanding of safety, sanitation, manufacturing operations, and quality standards
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to navigate basic software systems
- Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to lead with professionalism and integrity
- High attention to detail, self-motivated, and strong communication skills
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn Lean Six Sigma tools and fundamentals such as 5 Whys, RCA, CIL, and Process Controls
- Ability to thrive in a lean, agile, and fast-paced manufacturing environment
