Job Description

Job Title: Kitchen & Bath Designer / Showroom Sales Consultant
Location: Twin Cities Metro (Minneapolis–St. Paul, MN)
Employment Type: Full-time preferred (part-time/contractor considered)

Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Kitchen & Bath Designer / Sales Consultant who already has an established book of business in the Twin Cities metro area. This role blends high-performance sales with design expertise and hands-on field work. You’ll engage walk-in showroom customers and contractor clients, design with industry-leading software, and play a key role in our growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your existing contractor contacts and client network in the metro to drive business growth.
  • Create, present and close design-led sales for kitchen and bath projects — including both retail (walk-ins) and contractor/remodeler segments.
  • Use 20/20 software to generate layouts, renderings, pricing and proposals.
  • Meet with contractors on-site, consult with walk-in customers in showroom, and conduct design presentations.
  • Travel when needed to client sites (approx. 20% of the role) for measurements, consultations and contractor meetings.
  • Perform administrative tasks: order entry, customer service follow-up, project coordination, change orders and documentation.
  • Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy in designs, quotes and specs.
  • Work in the showroom 80% of the time, and in the field 20% of the time to support site visits and measurements.

Requirements / Candidate Profile:

  • Proven book of business in the MN metro market (contractors/remodelers or strong B2B sales pipeline).
  • Proficiency with the 20/20 design software platform (creating layouts, quoting and presenting).
  • Excellent customer-service orientation: personable, professional, able to engage showroom customers and trade professionals.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills — able to manage multiple projects, follow through and support post-sale service.
  • Strong sales skills: comfortable presenting, closing, and meeting targets.
  • Comfortable with travel (field visits, contractors) and with wearing many hats (sales, design, admin).
  • Experience working with contractors and remodelers, and interacting with walk-in retail traffic.

Why this role?

  • Immediate opportunity to leverage your existing contacts and accelerate sales in a showroom + contractor-driven environment.
  • Blend of creative design and hands-on sales makes this career both strategic and tactical.
  • Dynamic, fast-paced role where you’ll wear many hats and directly impact growth.
  • Flexible employment model: we prefer full-time but are open to part-time or contract for the right candidate.

We’re looking for someone who hits the ground running — strong client relationships, design software mastery, and a track record of sales success. If you’re ready to step into this role and drive growth in the Twin Cities metro, we want to hear from you.
