Manual Machinist
A well-established manufacturer is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join their team. This is a hands-on role in a machining environment focused on producing high-quality precision parts using conventional equipment. Manual Machinist Responsibilities: Operate manual/conventional machining equipment including lathes and mills Set up machines and adjust tooling to meet part specifications Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T requirements Perform precision machining to produce high-quality parts Inspect finished parts using measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.) Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment Identify and troubleshoot machining issues to ensure efficiency and quality
Qualifications: 2+ years of manual/conventional machining experience preferred Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience with quality inspections and precision measurement tools Solid understanding of machining processes and best practices Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This is a swing shift position in a stable manufacturing environment with strong team culture and opportunities for advancement.
