Looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Controls Technician to join our team and support the design, maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial automation systems within a high-output manufacturing environment. This position offers the opportunity to apply your programming expertise and critical thinking skills to optimize production systems and support critical plant operations.
The Controls Technician is responsible for supporting and maintaining industrial automation systems to ensure optimal plant operations. Utilizing a solid foundation in PLC programming and industrial control systems, this role involves troubleshooting, modifying, and optimizing equipment and processes. Working under the direction of the Controls Group Manager, the technician will monitor control interfaces (FactoryTalk, PanelView), interpret PLC logic and schematics, and collaborate with maintenance and production teams to address technical issues.
