Commercial Construction Project Manager – Charleston, SC
About the Role: We’re looking for a hands-on Project Manager to join our growing construction division in Charleston.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage projects from start to finish, including ground-up construction and tenant improvements (TIs).
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule and on budget.
- Assist with estimating, change orders, and project documentation.
- Split your time between office and field work on Charleston-area projects, with occasional travel to Southside.
- Contribute to process improvements and help build the division’s standard practices.
Who We’re Looking For:
- 3–10 years of commercial construction or project management experience.
- Experience on projects such as schools, multifamily, healthcare, municipal work, tenant upfits, hospitals, or soup kitchens.
- Strong understanding of both ground-up construction and tenant improvement projects.
- Solutions-focused team player who is flexible, hardworking, and willing to learn from challenges.
- Excellent communicator who can collaborate effectively and maintain a positive attitude.
- Able to handle stress, speak up tactfully, and approach projects with a can-do mindset and sense of humor.
