Heavy Civil Superintendent - Highway & Bridge Our client, a well-established Ohio heavy civil contractor, is looking for a Superintendent to lead highway and bridge projects. You will run the job in the field, from foundations and substructure through deck pours and roadway work, keeping crews safe, productive and on schedule. Responsibilities - Lead daily field operations on highway, interchange and bridge projects - Plan and sequence earthwork, drainage, foundations, substructure, superstructure and paving - Manage foremen, crews, equipment and subcontractors - Build and maintain look-ahead schedules with the project manager - Track production, quantities and costs against budget - Coordinate with DOT inspectors, engineers and owners - Manage maintenance of traffic and keep the site safe for crews and the public - Keep daily reports, quantities and safety documentation current Qualifications - 5+ years of superintendent or senior field leadership experience on highway or bridge work - DOT project experience strongly preferred - Able to read plans, specs and schedules - Strong knowledge of bridge construction methods and heavy equipment - OSHA 30 preferred - Valid driver's license Compensation - Competitive salary that reflects your experience - Full benefits including health, vision and dental - 401k plan with a company match - Paid time off and holidays - Room to grow into larger projects and leadership roles Send resume to mitchell.guerrieri@gogpac.com for more information
