Job Snapshot

Job Description

Cheyenne has become one of the quiet powerhouses of the data center world, thanks to cool, dry air, abundant land and strong access to power and fiber. A respected general contractor is growing its mission-critical team here and is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead hyperscale and enterprise data center projects. If you like big, technical builds and a team that treats you like a partner, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Lead data center projects from early planning and buyout through energization, commissioning and turnover
  • Own the project budget, forecasting, change management, cost reporting and owner billing
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with owners, engineers and trade partners
  • Keep long-lead switchgear, generators, UPS and cooling equipment on track with a clear procurement plan
  • Work hand in hand with superintendents on safety, quality, site logistics and the commissioning sequence
  • Mentor project managers, assistant project managers and project engineers as they grow

What You Bring

  • Senior project management experience with a general contractor, including data center or mission-critical work (required)
  • A good understanding of critical power, mechanical cooling, MEP coordination and integrated systems testing
  • A track record of delivering large, fast-moving projects safely, on schedule and on budget
  • Clear communication and a calm, team-first leadership style
  • A degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Willingness to be based in or relocate to the Cheyenne area
