Want to bid on the commercial projects that shape the Seattle skyline? An established, well-respected commercial roofing contractor in the Seattle area is adding a Commercial Roofing Estimator to its growing team. You'll come in with a strong pipeline of work, the support of an experienced project team, and a real chance to grow with the company.

What You'll Do

• Do accurate takeoffs and estimates for commercial new construction, re-roof and repair projects
• Price TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, coatings and metal roofing systems
• Read plans and specs, find the scope gaps, and write clear proposals
• Get pricing from suppliers and subs, and keep your bids competitive
• Walk jobsites and work with GCs, building owners and property managers
• Hand awarded projects off cleanly to project management

What You Bring

• 3+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience
• Skill with estimating software such as The EDGE, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff or STACK
• A solid grasp of low-slope roofing systems, manufacturer specs and warranties
• Good communication and organization, with an eye for detail
• Knowledge of the Seattle-area commercial market is a big plus
