Residential Purchasing Manager in Rock Hill

Job Description

Leading residential homebuilder with a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join their team.  

Experience: 5+ years in Residential Homebuilding

Base Pay DOE: 70K-125K

Responsibilities:

• Manage the purchasing process for construction materials and supplies.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials to job sites.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Analyze and evaluate vendor performance to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.
• Manage and maintain purchasing records and systems.
• Work closely with the construction team to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in residential production homebuilding purchasing.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of construction materials, building codes, and regulations
• Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
