HVAC INSTALL MANAGER 

 

Location: Sioux City, IA

Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Compensation: $95,000 – $125,000 per year + Bonus Opportunities

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Install Manager to join our growing team. This individual will play a key leadership role by managing and leading installation crews while ensuring projects are properly planned, measured, and fully prepared before installation begins.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong HVAC installation knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to keep projects running efficiently from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Manage and lead a team while maintaining a positive work environment
  • Be willing to continuously learn and participate in company-provided training
  • Have strong HVAC installation expertise
  • Be able to visit job sites, take accurate measurements, and ensure all materials are ordered and available before the scheduled install date
  • Keep installation crews productive and eliminate delays caused by missing materials or poor planning
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage HVAC installation teams on residential and/or commercial projects
  • Install HVAC systems according to specifications and code requirements
  • Read blueprints and project specifications
  • Measure job sites and prepare accurate material takeoffs
  • Order equipment, ductwork, and all required materials for upcoming jobs
  • Coordinate with office staff, suppliers, and project managers
  • Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
  • Troubleshoot field issues and provide solutions as needed
  • Maintain quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Strong HVAC installation experience required
  • Previous leadership experience managing install crews
  • Ability to independently measure and prepare jobs
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and installation standards
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • EPA Certification preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $95,000 – $125,000 annually
  • Ideal Target Compensation: $110,000
  • Bonus Opportunities: Up to $10,000 realistic first-year bonus potential
  • Additional Commission/Bonus Opportunities Available
