Bankruptcy Attorney (2+ Years Experience)

A well-established law firm in Round Rock, Texas is seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney with 2+ years of experience to join its expanding legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to take on meaningful client work, develop their practice, and work alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and confident managing bankruptcy matters while providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

  • Represent individuals and businesses in bankruptcy proceedings, including Chapters 7, 11, and 13.
  • Manage cases from initial consultation through discharge or resolution.
  • Draft petitions, schedules, motions, pleadings, and other bankruptcy-related filings.
  • Attend hearings, creditor meetings, and court appearances.
  • Advise clients on bankruptcy strategies, debt restructuring, and related financial matters.
  • Negotiate with creditors and opposing counsel when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with all court deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Texas and in good standing.
  • 2+ years of bankruptcy law experience.
  • Experience handling consumer and/or commercial bankruptcy matters.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with bankruptcy case management software is a plus.
