Remote Transportation Sales Director

Our client company is a leading provider of logistics and transportation solutions, specializing in freight brokerage, trucking, and supply chain management. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Remote Transportation Sales Director to join our growing team and drive revenue by securing new business and maintaining strong client relationships.

 

Location: Remote (anywhere in the USA)

Salary: $110,000.00 - $175,000.00 (DOE)Base +Sales Commissions

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities within the transportation and logistics industry.
  • Build and maintain relationships with shippers, carriers, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with clients and transportation providers.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and market trends.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any client issues.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in transportation, logistics, or freight sales (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of transportation modes, including FTL, LTL, and intermodal.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
