Associate Attorney – Specialized Finance & Real Property (Boise, ID)
A distinguished Boise-based law firm recognized for its sophisticated work in Public Finance, Real Property, and Housing Law is looking to add an Associate Attorney to its team. This firm serves as a strategic partner to housing and finance clients, offering an associate the chance to transition into a specialized General Counsel support role while developing high-level expertise in complex transactional and litigation matters.
If you are a 2–5 year attorney looking to pivot away from high-volume litigation and into a niche, growth-oriented practice, this is an ideal opportunity.
The Opportunity
This role is designed for an attorney who enjoys the intersection of property law and complex finance. You will work on matters involving secured transactions, property security, and loan servicing, providing both litigation support and transactional guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
General Counsel Support: Assist in representing housing and finance clients in a general counsel capacity.
Complex Drafting: Prepare pleadings, legal memoranda, and sophisticated transactional documents.
Focused Litigation: Conduct legal research and handle limited, strategic court appearances.
Transactional Growth: Develop expertise in property security, loan servicing, and secured transactions.
Candidate Requirements
Experience: 2–5 years of legal practice.
Preferred Background: Experience in Real Estate, Litigation, or Commercial Transactions is highly preferred.
Licensure: Must be admitted to the Idaho State Bar and in good standing.
Skill Set: Exceptional drafting abilities, strong organizational habits, and the communication skills necessary to interface with sophisticated institutional clients.
