Senior Legal Assistant – Established Meridian Litigation Firm

A high-volume, reputable law firm in Meridian, Idaho is seeking a seasoned Legal Assistant to join their team in a full-time capacity. This firm handles a diverse range of practice areas with a heavy focus on Civil Litigation, making this an ideal role for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

This firm is looking for a "right hand" to their attorneys—someone who is proactive, highly organized, and capable of delivering high-quality work under pressure.

The Role

You will provide comprehensive support across all practice areas, with a primary emphasis on managing the complexities of the civil litigation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Litigation Support: Handle the drafting and preparation of legal documents and the electronic filing of court documents.

  • Docketing & Calendaring: Manage complex schedules, ensuring all court deadlines and appearances are strictly maintained.

  • Client Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, requiring superior communication skills and a professional demeanor.

  • File Management: Maintain organized physical and digital files and provide administrative support across multiple ongoing matters.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience specifically within Civil Litigation.

  • Technical Skills: Proven ability to produce accurate work product with excellent proofreading and drafting skills.

  • Soft Skills: Ability to remain calm and communicate effectively under pressure while managing multiple competing priorities.

  • Location: Must be able to work full-time out of the Meridian, ID office.
