Controller
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in construction accounting, financial management, or as a Controller in construction-general contracting
- Strong understanding of job costing, WIP (Work in Progress) reporting, and contract revenue recognition.
- Proficiency in construction accounting software such as Sage, Textura, and Procore
- Knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards for the construction industry.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for remodeling or general contracting firms.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment with multiple ongoing jobs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred but not required).
