Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care to small animal patients
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnose health conditions
  • Develop and discuss treatment plans with pet owners
  • Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures (if applicable)
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Collaborate with technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow
  • Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education

Associate Veterinarian Qualifications

  • DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice veterinary medicine locally
  • Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service and patient care
