gpac is working with a well-known food manufacturer that is seeking Maintenance Technician, 2nd shift for a food manufacturing facility in the Eau Claire area os Wisconsin!
This role will focus on ensuring equipment is maintained and repaired to work at highest efficiency so that their growing company can meet and exceed production. They are looking for someone with experience in ovens, pressing, pneumatic and hydraulic power systems, tearing down and setting up equipment, clean and maintain dies, repair electrical systems, with PLC experience. You will report to the Plant Manager for quick decision-making abilities!

The ideal candidate holds:
· Preferred 2+ years of experience with equipment and PLC-maintenance tech
· Ability to troubleshoot equipment necessary to perform all manufacturing operations.
· Experience with multi meter to troubleshoot electrical systems, hand and power tools
· Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic power systems
· General welding experience (TIG preferred)
· Food manufacturing experience preferred but not required
· Independent mindset, preventative maintenance planning ideal
· High School Diploma
