Senior Estimator

The Senior Estimator will lead the preconstruction and bidding process for commercial concrete projects. This role requires deep expertise in concrete scopes, including foundations, slabs, tilt-up, and structural systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial concrete scopes
• Perform quantity takeoffs for concrete, rebar, formwork, and labor
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Develop competitive bid proposals and budgets
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving strategies
• Maintain cost databases and historical pricing

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in concrete estimating
• Strong understanding of structural concrete, rebar, and formwork systems
• Experience estimating large commercial concrete projects
• Proficiency in estimating software and Excel
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
