A community bank in Anamosa is confidentially hiring a Commercial Lender to grow business relationships across Jones County and eastern Iowa. The role focuses on new business, underwriting, structuring, closing, and relationship management.

Responsibilities:

• Learn each client's needs and recommend the right credit and deposit solutions
• Build a portfolio of local businesses and commercial real estate clients
• Analyze creditworthiness and risk on new loans and renewals
• Prepare loan memos, proposals, and loan documents
• Open new accounts and cross-sell treasury services
• Reach production and relationship growth goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Commercial lending or credit experience
• Comfortable presenting proposals to business owners
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Organized and able to handle several deals at once
