Job Description

A community bank in Adel is seeking a Credit Analyst to support its lenders across Dallas County and central Iowa. The role covers financial analysis, risk rating, and underwriting support, with a clear path toward lending or credit leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with loan officers on new requests, renewals, and annual reviews
• Spread financial statements and analyze tax returns and cash flow
• Risk-rate commercial credits and write well-organized credit memos
• Help train newer team members on credit procedures
• Support month-end and regulatory reporting
• Keep loan files in line with policy and compliance rules

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting
• 1+ years as a bank credit analyst preferred
• Comfortable with Excel and financial spreading
• Detail oriented with excellent written communication
• Interested in growing into a lending role
