Mid-Level Commercial Litigation Attorney

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

A highly respected and busy litigation practice is seeking a mid-level associate to join its team and take on a substantial role in complex, high-stakes matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation attorney looking for meaningful responsibility, strong mentorship, and consistent courtroom exposure.

The practice handles a diverse mix of commercial, real estate, and employment disputes, offering broad experience across multiple areas of civil litigation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motions
  • Manage all phases of discovery
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Prepare for and participate in mediations and trials
  • Work closely with senior attorneys on case strategy and client counseling
  • Contribute to appeals and post-trial work

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years of civil litigation experience
  • Strong background in brief writing and law and motion practice
  • Deposition and discovery experience required
  • Trial preparation experience; second chair trial experience strongly preferred
  • Exposure to commercial, real estate, or employment litigation is a plus
  • Excellent academic credentials and strong writing skills
  • Licensed in CA and in good standing with the Bar Association
