Insurance Defense Attorney Opportunity in Gainesville: Insurance Defense from Home

Our client, a well-established Florida insurance defense firm, is looking for an Insurance Defense Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its team in Gainesville. The firm defends insureds and carriers in auto, premises liability, and general liability matters in state courts throughout Florida.

This is a remote role. You will work from your home office, stay connected with the team virtually, and travel to Gainesville or other venues only when hearings, meetings, or trial require it.

What You'll Do

• Manage an insurance defense caseload from assignment through resolution
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Report to carriers on case evaluation and litigation strategy
• Represent clients at mediations, hearings, and trials

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Member of The Florida Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of insurance defense or civil litigation experience
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and client service skills
• Self-motivated and organized when working from a home office
