Job Description

We are working with two dairy manufacturing companies south of La Crosse, WI in Monroe and Vernon counties that are seeking a 2nd shift Production Supervisor and a 1st shift Production Supervisor, to join their leadership team and help develop their management skills. These companies are well-known food manufacturers that have been providing fresh, locally processed, high-quality products for 30+ years. They are looking for someone who will be responsible for manufacturing, efficiency, inventory, safety, and maintenance for the department and shift, assessing needs and helping to achieve company and facility goals in collaboration with other department supervisors and management. They have an excellent group of employees who are highly trained and are looking for a true leader.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage and coach the team to success, ensure manufacturing productivity and efficiency for the shift
• 2nd shift is 2PM-11PM M-F, rotating every 3rd Saturday
• 1st shift is 5AM-5PM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule
• Collaborate with other shift departments
• Follow and enforce all policies and procedures, both company and regulator
• Ensure safety of all employees
• Trouble shoot and work with Maintenance team.
• Communicate with the Management team on shift performance and production, both planning and issue resolution

The ideal candidate has:

• 3+ years of experience within a dairy or pasteurization facility with some leadership experience
• Highly motivated with great communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform all manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity working with data management programs.
• Strong understanding of GMP’s and Food Safety
• Leadership mindset and drive to excel
