Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the project management team on structural and miscellaneous steel projects.
STEEL INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED: candidates must have experience working in a structural steel or miscellaneous/ornamental metals fabrication or erection environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and coordination support to project managers
- Maintain RFI, submittal, and change order logs
- Organize project documents, drawings, and correspondence
- Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery information
- Assist with billing documentation and project closeout
Position Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare transmittals and distribute drawing revisions
- Schedule and document project meetings
- Communicate with general contractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Track material and fabrication status
- Update project management systems and reports
Position Skills:
- Required: Experience in the structural steel or metals fabrication/erection industry
- 1+ years of project coordination or administrative experience, preferably in construction or manufacturing
- Ability to read basic construction drawings is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Clear written and verbal communication
