gpac, a recruiting firm with 30+ years in business, is partnered with a well-established company in the structural steel and metals fabrication industry in the Eau Claire, WI area. Our client is seeking a Reality Capture Specialist to capture and process site and structure data.
STEEL INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED: candidates must have experience working in a structural steel or miscellaneous/ornamental metals fabrication or erection environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Capture site conditions using laser scanning and related tools
- Process point clouds and models
- Support detailing, engineering, and project teams
- Maintain equipment
- Deliver accurate data
Position Essential Job Functions:
- Plan and perform scans
- Register and clean point clouds
- Create models and deliverables
- Coordinate with project teams
- Document workflows
Position Skills:
- Required: Experience in the structural steel or metals fabrication/erection industry
- 2+ years of laser scanning or reality capture experience
- Experience with scanning and point cloud software
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to travel
