Commercial Construction Project Manager
A leading commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee ground-up and renovation commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established builder with a strong backlog of work, long-term stability, and a reputation for delivering high-quality projects.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout · Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and overall financial performance · Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders · Review plans, specifications, subcontracts, and change orders · Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with clients and leadership · Identify project risks and proactively resolve issues before they impact timelines · Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget · Support project handoff and closeout processes · Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors
Qualifications
· 4–10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction · Experience managing ground-up and/or renovation commercial projects · Strong knowledge of project management, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control · Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications · Experience with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera, or MS Project · Stable work history with reputable commercial contractors · Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Compensation and Benefits
