Job Description

Mechanical Contractor looking for an Accountant experienced in construction in the Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning industry.

 Hybrid schedule,Excellent benefits, collaborative culture and room for growth  

The ideal Accountant will have the following qualifications:

• A minimum 3 years’ experience in the HVAC Construction/Service fields
• A working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Union payroll experience

Responsibilities of the Accountant will include but not limited to:

• Preparation of invoices
• Ensuring collections of Accounts Receivable
• Assisting the Payroll Supervisor with weekly in-house payrolls
• Perform bank account reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of month-end journal entries
• Analyze General Ledger accounts
