Architect – Design-Build (Milwaukee, WI)

A design-build firm in the Milwaukee area is hiring an Architect who enjoys working directly with owners and turning their ideas into practical, buildable designs. You'll take projects from early owner conversations through complete drawings as part of a team that designs and builds.

What you'll do

• Meet with owners for initial design reviews, listen to their goals and sketch concepts on the spot.
• Develop designs that meet code and zoning requirements without over-designing.
• Produce complete, detailed drawing sets.
• Work closely with the design and construction team from concept through construction.

What you bring

• Design-build experience.
• Working knowledge of building codes and zoning.
• The ability to sketch and communicate ideas clearly with owners.
• Strong attention to detail in drawings and documentation.
• A team-first approach.

Compensation: $110,000 to $130,000, depending on experience.
