Heavy Civil / WWTP Estimator
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to support heavy civil and wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing competitive estimates for sitework, utilities, concrete, process piping, and related heavy civil scopes. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines are essential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and bid proposals for heavy civil and WWTP projects
- Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and solicit subcontractor/vendor pricing
- Coordinate with project managers, operations teams, and clients during the bidding process
- Track bid schedules, budgets, and project documentation
- Assist with change orders and cost analysis as needed
Qualifications
- Experience estimating heavy civil and/or WWTP construction projects required
- Knowledge of sitework, underground utilities, concrete, and process piping preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office preferred
