Job Description

Our client in Columbia, MO is hiring a Network & AI Systems Administrator to keep the network secure and running, and to lead how the company connects its systems to AI tools.

What you'll do

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routing, VPN and wireless
• Configure and monitor firewalls, and lead security hardening
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft Defender
• Integrate AI tools into day-to-day business workflows
• Build and maintain MCP (Model Context Protocol) connectors and data connectors between business systems and AI platforms
• Troubleshoot issues and support users across the organization

What you bring

• Hands-on networking experience
• Firewall experience
• Microsoft Entra ID and Defender administration
• Experience integrating AI tools, MCP connectors or data connectors
• A security-first mindset, and comfort working directly with leadership and end users

Relocation: This role is on-site in Columbia, MO. We welcome candidates willing to relocate to Columbia, a college town with a low cost of living about two hours from both St. Louis and Kansas City.

Permanent, full-time. $90,000 - $120,000.
