Training & Development Manager (Personal Injury)

Overview
A rapidly growing Personal Injury Firm is launching a firmwide initiative to build a best-in-class training and development program and is seeking an experienced professional to lead that effort. This individual will serve as the firm’s primary trainer and will take full ownership of a newly implemented Learning Management System (LMS).
This is a high-impact role with strong leadership support and visibility across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary firmwide trainer.
- Own, manage, and continuously develop the firm’s Learning Management System (LMS)
- Design and implement structured training programs for:
- New hires
- Ongoing staff development
- Process improvements and best practices
- Develop training materials, workflows, and standardized procedures specific to personal injury case handling.
- Deliver both in-person and virtual training sessions
- Collaborate closely with firm leadership and operations to align training initiatives with firm goals
- Serve as the internal point person for training strategy and execution
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong personal injury law background (hands-on experience required)
- Demonstrated experience in training, coaching, or team development
- Formal training roles preferred, but candidates who have led extensive internal training initiatives will be considered
- Comfortable building programs from the ground up
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to take ownership of a new function
- Strong communicator with the ability to train and engage diverse teams
- Experience working with or managing an LMS is a strong plus
Location & Travel
- Preferred: Memphis, TN (strong preference)
- Also open to Jackson, TN
- Must be willing and able to travel between Jackson and Memphis
