About the Opportunity
A well-established civil engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Land Development Project Manager to lead a growing portfolio of site development projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer who enjoys managing projects, developing client relationships, mentoring engineering teams, and taking ownership of complex land development work.
Key Responsibilities
Lead land development projects from initial planning and due diligence through design, permitting, and construction administration.
Oversee site design, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility infrastructure.
Serve as the primary client contact and build long-term professional relationships.
Coordinate permitting and approvals with municipal, county, and state agencies.
Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, and deliverables.
Lead and mentor engineers and designers while maintaining quality standards.
Prepare proposals and support business development efforts.
Provide technical oversight and sign and seal engineering plans.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred) EIT Required
10+ years of land development experience, including project management.
Strong background in civil site design, grading, drainage, stormwater, and utilities.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Proven client management and business development experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills.
