Job Description

We are actively seeking an experienced Water / Wastewater Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of infrastructure and construction projects. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in electrical construction, controls, and instrumentation within the water/wastewater sector. The right candidate will play a critical role in delivering successful projects by leading coordination, execution, and stakeholder engagement from preconstruction through close-out. Responsibilities

  • Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, scheduling, and project close-out
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of project contracts, stakeholders, and key priorities
  • Prepare and submit monthly project status reports outlining progress, risks, and critical issues
  • Develop and manage project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
  • Secure required permits and verify subcontractor insurance compliance
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings to ensure effective coordination and execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, engineers, and project partners
  • Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Support business development efforts through participation in proposals and presentations

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of construction experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience managing projects from start to finish successfully
  • Experience with electrical installation projects in the water/wastewater industry
  • Strong understanding of controls, instrumentation, P&ID drawings, and SCADA systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in engineering, business, or a related field
  • Experience working for an electrical contractor on large-scale construction projects
  • Experience with complex infrastructure or industrial environments
  • Familiarity with alternative delivery methods and sustainability practices

  • Base salary: $100K – $130K (depending on experience)
