Legal Assistant – Plaintiff Law Firm (Dadeland Area)

A busy and well-established plaintiff law firm in the Dadeland area is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant with 3–5 years of experience to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Manage case files from intake through resolution.

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and other case-related correspondence.

• Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and other appointments.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information.

• Request, organize, review, and summarize medical records and medical bills.

• Assist attorneys with case preparation and ongoing case management.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure all deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of legal assistant experience, preferably in plaintiff personal injury litigation.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Proficiency with Florida E-Filing procedures.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience handling medical records and billing documentation preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $50,000 – $65,000, based on experience.
