Job Title: Commercial Litigation Associate (4+ Years)

Location: Cleveland, OH (Hybrid) Job Type: Full-Time

About the Opportunity: A highly regarded law firm is seeking multiple Commercial Litigation Associates to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for mid-level attorneys looking to take on substantive responsibility in a collaborative, professional environment, with a clear path to partnership.

Position Overview :The firm is actively hiring multiple associates. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial litigation experience and the ability to contribute immediately with minimal training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a broad range of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft high-quality pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
  • Participate in discovery, depositions, and client communications
  • Collaborate with partners and team members on complex litigation matters

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of commercial litigation experience at a law firm
  • Strong writing and analytical skills (writing sample required)
  • Ability to manage cases independently and “hit the ground running”
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in Ohio (in good standing)

Compensation:

  • $160,000 – $190,000 (based on experience)
  • Bonus structure includes billable-based, discretionary, and origination components

Hours & Schedule:

  • Billable Requirement: 1,800 hoursHybrid Schedule: 3 days in-office / 2 days remote
    • Includes up to 50 pro bono hours
    • Includes up to 100 CLE/professional development hours
