Job Description

We are seeking a skilled RF Technician with a strong background in RF and analog circuitry testing and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of hands-on experience working with radio frequency systems, test equipment, and electronic assemblies.

This role supports engineering and production teams by diagnosing issues, performing testing procedures, and ensuring RF systems meet performance and quality standards. The RF Technician will work closely with engineers to validate system functionality and troubleshoot complex electronic problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repair of RF and analog electronic circuitry.
  • Use RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and power meters.
  • Analyze and diagnose failures in RF modules, assemblies, and systems.
  • Support engineering teams in prototype testing, validation, and product development.
  • Perform component-level troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct functional testing to verify RF system performance and specifications.
  • Document test results, troubleshooting procedures, and repair actions.
  • Maintain organized test records and support quality control processes.
  • Assist in developing and improving test procedures and troubleshooting methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent technical experience).
  • Five (5) or more years of hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting RF and analog circuitry.
  • Strong understanding of RF theory and electronic principles.
  • Experience using RF diagnostic and test equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical drawings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in defense, aerospace, telecommunications, or electronics manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with RF signal testing, calibration, and validation processes.
  • Experience supporting prototype development or engineering labs.
  • Knowledge of PCB troubleshooting and soldering techniques.
