Confidential Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager

 

Overview

A well-established and growing construction firm in the Mid-Atlantic region is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (preferred) or Project Manager to support renovation and addition projects, including multifamily, institutional, and public-sector work. This is a hands-on role working closely with a Senior Project Manager on active projects throughout the region.

Projects are primarily renovation-focused, and offer strong long-term growth potential as the company continues to expand significantly over the next several years.

Responsibilities

  • Support Senior PM with day-to-day project execution and coordination

  • Manage submittals, RFIs, logs, budgets, and documentation

  • Assist with scheduling, progress meetings, and subcontractor coordination

  • Review drawings and specifications; maintain strong document control

  • Support estimating and pricing efforts, including independent labor and material takeoffs

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Assistant PM or PM with 2–7 years of construction experience

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills

  • Estimating experience highly valued; ability to price work independently is a major plus

  • Solid understanding of MEP coordination

  • Proficient with Procore or Autodesk, RFI and submittal management

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $75K–$120K, depending on experience
