Tax Accountant (Immediate Need) – Twin Cities, MN

A growing, client-focused CPA firm in the Twin Cities is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join the team immediately. This is a high-impact role for a tax professional who can step in during busy season and contribute right away across a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Assist clients with tax planning and projections
• Provide proactive guidance to minimize tax liability and ensure compliance
• Handle multiple engagements while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Support senior leadership with client strategy and advisory services

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong technical knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
• Ability to step in quickly and contribute during peak season
• Experience preparing returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
• Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or EA designation (or actively pursuing)
• Public accounting experience
• Interest in growing into a leadership role

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $80,000 – $120,000, depending on experience
