Job Description

The top heavy civil contractor in the Milwaukee area is looking to solidify their accounting department by adding a Controller to their team!

Controller Requirements

• Accounting or Business related degree required
• CPA or CMA required
• 5+10+ years in accounting experience, within construction industry preferred but not required
• Tech skills: Proficiency in ERP, Vista, advanced Excel and financial modeling
• Strong understanding of construction accounting principles, Work-in-Progress accounting, job costing, and revenue recognition
• Mentor and supervise other accounting staff
• Oversee AP/AR/general ledger maintenance
• Manage financial reporting (month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes and financial statements
