Job Description

A community bank in Cortez is confidentially searching for a Commercial Lender to grow business relationships across Montezuma County and the Four Corners area of southwest Colorado. You'll prospect, underwrite, structure, close, and service commercial loans for local businesses.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new commercial clients through calling and referrals
• Understand client needs and match them with the right credit products
• Analyze financial statements and creditworthiness for each request
• Prepare loan memos and guide deals through documentation and closing
• Open new accounts and cross-sell deposit and treasury services
• Reach growth goals while keeping credit quality sound

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance preferred
• Commercial lending or business banking background
• Polished communicator who presents well to business owners
• Hands-on experience with proposals and underwriting
• Organized and comfortable juggling multiple deals
