Job Title: Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney (3–7 Years Experience)

Location: Chicago, IL

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney with 3–7 years of experience to join our growing team in Chicago. This is a high-impact, trial-focused position offering significant hands-on experience and the opportunity to manage a robust caseload while developing strong litigation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury matters from inception through pre-trial stages
• Conduct case investigations, evaluate liability and damages, and develop case strategy
• Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and motions
• Take and defend depositions, including plaintiffs, defendants, and expert witnesses
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
• Prepare cases thoroughly for trial, including pre-trial motions, mediation, and trial strategy
• Collaborate with support staff and other attorneys to ensure efficient case handling

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the Illinois Bar
• 3–7 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently
• Strong experience handling cases from intake through pre-trial preparation
• Trial experience is not required, but candidates must be comfortable preparing cases up to trial
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
