About the Role
We are seeking a data-driven Quality Manager to lead and advance our quality function within a precision CNC manufacturing environment. This position will oversee quality engineers, inspectors, and CMM operations to ensure products meet strict customer and regulatory requirements. The role offers a clear path to grow into a senior leadership position within the company.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop the quality engineering and inspection teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Oversee all CMM operations, including programming, inspection strategies, and performance tracking.
Utilize data-driven methodologies to monitor process capability, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
Manage quality systems to ensure compliance with customer, industry, and internal standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using metrics, root cause analysis, and lean problem-solving tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, operations, and supply chain to resolve quality issues and improve first-pass yield.
Maintain and enhance documentation, audits, and reporting to support ISO and customer requirements.
Prepare and present quality performance data to leadership, with recommendations for process enhancements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of quality management experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
Strong background in CMM operation, inspection techniques, and data analysis.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and build a results-oriented culture.
Proficiency in statistical analysis, root cause investigation, and quality management systems.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
