Job Description

gpac is currently assisting a client in their search for a Millwright that will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, installing, and troubleshooting mechanical equipment throughout the company's grain handling and storage facilities.  This position plays a key role in ensuring grain elevators, conveyors, dryers, and related equipment operate safely and efficiently.

Millwright Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs on grain handling equipment and facilities
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues
• Maintain and repair grain storage, handling, and processing equipment
• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication repairs one equipment, structural components, and facility systems
• Assist with equipment modifications to improve operational efficiency and reliability
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations

Millwright Qualifications:

• Mechanical, maintenance, or equipment repair experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, and mechanical drive systems
• Mechanical or welding certification, technical school training, or equivalent hands on experience
