Job Description

An established Ag Organization in Western Nebraska is seeking an Agronomy Lead to help coordinate daily operations at the plant level. This hands-on role focuses on scheduling, inventory management, product logistics, and team support during both in-season and off-season activities.


 Agronomy Lead Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize and plan daily agronomy activities including deliveries and work orders

  • Organize staff schedules and ensure timely arrival of crop inputs

  • Manage chemical and fertilizer inventories, including monthly/yearly counts

  • Review work orders for accuracy and compliance with application guidelines

  • Support maintenance, training, and preparation during off-season

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and assist with staff direction

Agronomy Lead Requirements:

  • Previous experience in agronomy operations or plant logistics preferred

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and lead a team

  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and equipment use
