An established Ag Organization in Western Nebraska is seeking an Agronomy Lead to help coordinate daily operations at the plant level. This hands-on role focuses on scheduling, inventory management, product logistics, and team support during both in-season and off-season activities.
Agronomy Lead Key Responsibilities:
Prioritize and plan daily agronomy activities including deliveries and work orders
Organize staff schedules and ensure timely arrival of crop inputs
Manage chemical and fertilizer inventories, including monthly/yearly counts
Review work orders for accuracy and compliance with application guidelines
Support maintenance, training, and preparation during off-season
Oversee day-to-day operations and assist with staff direction
Agronomy Lead Requirements:
Previous experience in agronomy operations or plant logistics preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and lead a team
Valid driver’s license required
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and equipment use
