Plaintiff Class Action Employment Attorney Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Plaintiff-Side Class Action Employment Attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers the opportunity to handle high-stakes class action lawsuits involving wage theft, misclassification, tip skimming, unpaid wages, discrimination, and other unlawful employment practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in class action employment law, trial experience, and a passion for advocating for workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and argue complex motions, including motions for class certification.
  • Take and defend depositions of key witnesses, including corporate representatives and experts.
  • Manage discovery, including document review, interrogatories, and requests for admission.
  • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal professionals to develop litigation strategies.
  • Stay up to date on Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and state wage and hour laws to craft innovative legal arguments.

 

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in California.
  • 5+ years of litigation experience, with employment law and class action experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of wage and hour laws, FLSA, and state labor laws.
  • Proven track record of handling complex employment litigation, including class certification.
  • Exceptional legal writing, oral advocacy, and trial preparation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for workers’ rights and social justice.
