A well-established Dallas law firm is looking to add a Probate & Family Law Associate with 2+ years of experience. This is an opportunity for an attorney who is comfortable taking ownership of matters and handling cases independently from start to finish. The firm offers a collegial environment while maintaining a fast-paced practice where client needs can change quickly.
Manage probate and family law matters independently from intake through resolution
Handle day-to-day case strategy, client communication, pleadings, discovery, hearings, negotiations, and other substantive matters
Provide practical, responsive guidance to clients throughout the life of their cases
Draft and review pleadings, motions, correspondence, agreements, and other legal documents
Adapt to changing client needs and manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff while maintaining ownership of assigned matters
2+ years of experience practicing probate and family law
Ability to independently manage matters from start to finish
Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
Comfortable handling changing priorities and the natural unpredictability of family law matters
Strong client-service skills and sound judgment
Self-starter who can work efficiently with minimal supervision
Texas Bar admission required
120 billable hours per month
