Mergers & Acquisitions Associate – Boise, ID
Position Overview
A premier law firm is seeking a talented Mergers & Acquisitions Associate with 3 to 5 years of experience to join its dynamic practice group in Boise, Idaho.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value corporate transactions within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. The incoming associate will gain immediate, hands-on experience across a diverse spectrum of corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, corporate restructurings, recapitalizations, strategic partnerships, cross-border transactions, auctions, takeover defense, fund formation, and private equity/venture capital investments.
Key Responsibilities
Structure, draft, and negotiate complex transactional documents for domestic and international M&A, private equity, and venture capital deals.
Manage transaction due diligence processes and coordinate closing logistics.
Advise clients on corporate governance, restructurings, and strategic partnerships.
Collaborate across practice groups and offices to deliver seamless legal counsel to a sophisticated client base.
Qualified Candidates Will Possess
A JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school with top academic credentials.
3 to 5 years of dedicated law firm experience focusing on mergers and acquisitions, private companies, and private equity/venture capital investments.
Idaho bar admission, or the immediate eligibility to waive in/gain admission to the Idaho State Bar.
Exceptional communication, analytical, and legal writing skills.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sophisticated environment.
