Maintenance / Heavy Equipment Mechanic

A company vehicle is provided for all work-related travel.

About the Opportunity: As a Maintenance/Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you’ll support multiple sites, troubleshoot a wide range of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, and perform the repairs and preventive maintenance that keep operations moving. You’ll work with equipment such as cranes, balers, loaders, and material handlers—often leading tear-downs, rebuilds, and complex hydraulic work.

What You’ll Do:

  • Travel to various locations during the day to diagnose and repair heavy equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
  • Work hands-on with hydraulic systems, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical rebuilds
  • Read and interpret hydraulic prints and technical schematics
  • Maintain accurate service records and follow safety standards

What You Bring:

  • Several years of heavy equipment maintenance experience
  • Strong hydraulic, diesel, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read hydraulic diagrams and technical manuals
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally during the day
  • Ability to work in outdoor/industrial environments and meet physical demands
