Job Description

Are you a detail-driven Paralegal ready to take on complex federal litigation and regulatory matters? We’re looking for a sharp, proactive professional to join our DC team and support attorneys through all phases of federal court and administrative proceedings. From government investigations to regulatory reviews, this role offers exposure to high-impact legal work at the intersection of litigation and federal regulations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare, proofread, and cite check legal filings (pleadings, motions, briefs, appendices, proposed orders)

  • File court documents using CM/ECF

  • Manage and organize case files and discovery processes

  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings

  • Assist with challenges to federal agency actions before administrative bodies (like HHS Departmental Appeals Board)

  • Organize exhibits, supplemental filings, and track key deadlines

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree + Paralegal certificate

  • 2+ years of federal litigation support experience

  • Strong knowledge of federal court procedures and discovery

  • Skilled in PACER/CM-ECF and Microsoft Office

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Flexible and willing to work occasional overtime

Bonus Points For:

  • iManage experience

  • Prior law firm background

  • Familiarity with e-discovery tools

  • Experience with Administrative Procedure Act litigation or agency investigations

Compensation: $70,000 – $90,000 (based on experience and qualifications) 

Schedule: On-site 5 days/week for the first 90 days, then hybrid (4 days in-office)
