Position: CNC Programmer
Type: Full-Time
Join a growing team focused on precision manufacturing and advanced CAD/CAM programming. This role involves developing multi-axis CNC programs for complex components using CATIA V5 or 3DEXPERIENCE, with an emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities:
Program 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines using CATIA V5 or 3DEXPERIENCE
Interpret 3D models and 2D drawings to create accurate machining strategies
Design tooling, fixturing, and select appropriate cutters, feeds, and speeds
Verify programs using Vericut for safety and accuracy
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and quality teams to support production
Maintain organized documentation and adhere to configuration control standards
Provide technical support to shop floor personnel and troubleshoot as needed
Ensure compliance with ITAR regulations
Qualifications:
5+ years of CNC programming experience using CATIA V5 or 3DEXPERIENCE
Proficient with Vericut simulation software
Mill-turn programming experience is a plus
Strong understanding of multi-axis programming and machining best practices
U.S. citizenship required (due to ITAR compliance)
Ability to work independently or collaboratively and manage priorities effectively
Preferred:
Associate’s degree or higher in a technical field such as Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
Familiarity with mechanical design/drafting
